A few poker tactics will surprise you with their simplicity. This is sample. Note your conclusions, every single time you wager.

Cult of texas hold’em Psalm #4:

You have to record your successes and your loses; for it’s the sum total of all a persons accomplishments which create his/her bottom line.

How accurate is your decision. I tend to think that hourly specifics and that kind of intimate information is wasted. Simply work out how much in front you are and how much (if anything) you’ve withdrawn. Certainly, if you don’t win, record that too, no matter how much it hurts.

Don’t forget to write down what style of poker you’re competing in, if that’s significant to you. (In my expertise, most folks stick to what they understand and don’t try something they do not know. If all you note is winnings, loses and withdrawals, you’re way in front of a majority of players around!)

Provide yourself achievable goals, like a ‘dream’ goal (new vehicle, get-a-way or anything else). When you withdraw, mark the $$$$$ withdrawn to your dream counter. The greater the success you have, the closer that dream will get!
